We are paving the way to a more sustainable future by reimagining waste management through circular solutions, focussing on two key pillars: waste management and resource recovery.

Through innovation and dedication, Wollert Resource Park plays a key role in shaping a more sustainable future where waste is not just managed—it is transformed into valuable resources.

We are planning to expand the Wollert Resource Park.

The Resource Park will expand waste processing and disposal infrastructure on site, helping to provide alternative waste management practices for increasing waste volumes and improve the public’s knowledge of recycling practices.

Locating the Wollert Resource Park next to the landfill will take advantage of the existing waste streams and diverting recyclable materials.

The Circular Economy Act

The Victoria legislative framework, including the Circular Economy Act, provides the right environment for Heidelberg Materials to invest in circular economy activities.

By 2030, we want to offer circular alternatives for 50% of our concrete products, ensuring valuable resources such as building materials and tyres are recovered and repurposed for new uses.
